Bethsa’s story – Bethsa originally immigrated from Barcelona, Spain to Vancouver, Canada before she was hired as a Housekeeping Attendant at HighStreet. In Spain, Bethsa left behind a 12+ year career in Accounting. We supported her immigration through BC PNP, and when she obtained her permanent resident status, we offered her the role of Accountant. Now she spends her days managing our Accounts Payable, Payroll, and several other key accounting functions. Bethsa is just one example of the many employees who have grown and developed with HighStreet.
We’ve hired numerous employees who are living and working here with an open work permit (a “working holiday” visa or similar). In some cases, we’ve been able to support our employees in their efforts to become permanent residents and citizens of Canada through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program.
